The El Sereno students have an educational opportunity to learn various regional dances of México. As part of this class, students also have the great opportunity of participating and performing for school assemblies, activities, and community events.

Meeting times are in 4th period daily. there might be after-school practices at times. The group meets in the auditorium. For information ask MS. Aguilar.

The Sparkle Club has been out and about cleaning up the community. Along with Rosemarie Elizondo and Mary Jaques. Sponsors and students from El Sereno Middle School have given up their Saturdays to take pride in their community. El Club Sparkle a estado trabajando y limpiando la comunidad. Con el apoyo de las Señoras Rosemarie Elizondo y Mary Jaques, muchos de los estudiantes de la esculea intermedia de El Sereno han dedicado sus Sábados para servicio a la comunidad.

The Sparkle Club teaches students about community pride and ownership of the area they live in by having them go out into the community to clean. The club also teaches students how to use city services and includes police involvement. Everyone is welcome. Students who participate can clear up detentions with teacher permission. Lunch is provided.

Every 3rd Saturday of the month. 8:00-11:00 a.m.

Students meet in front of the school.
