1940s to 1950s ?
This racetrack was located at the old Selig Zoo on Selig Place and Mission Road.
Often confused with the Legion Ascot Speedway on Valley Blvd.
After a day at the races many spectators spent the rest of the day
enjoying the merry go round across the street to Lincoln Park
